Phil Halpin is senior vice president and the head of global security for Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH). Since joining the firm in 2014, Halpin has transformed the global security program from a reactive model to one that demonstrates a quantifiable value to the organization by mitigating risk through proactive and intelligence-driven services and providing strategic business support. Most recently, Phil has taken responsibility for information security and will execute on a vision to digitally transform the way BBH manages information security and identity and access management (IAM), a process which will include the convergence of physical and logical identities. Halpin brings a background from the public sector – including service in the U.S. Marines and law enforcement – and from the private sector, where he held corporate security roles in several different organizations.
