Michael Normyle is a U.S. economist at Nasdaq. As part of the Economic Research group, he works with Nasdaq's chief economist in helping clients internally and externally understand the market implications of macroeconomic developments and forecasts.
Normyle has over 10 years of experience in macroeconomic research. Prior to joining Nasdaq at the start of 2022, he developed expertise in economic cycle forecasting, including business cycles and inflation cycles for the G20 economies, at the Economic Cycle Research Institute. His work focused on identifying cyclical and structural economic trends and their implications for monetary policy and for country-specific, regional and global macroeconomic outlooks.
Normyle has a B.A. in economics and a M.A. in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University.
