Before Acre, Sokka was president and general manager of LenelS2, where he led the modernization of one of the industry’s most established access control brands. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly 15 years at Rockwell Automation building and leading the company’s Digital Business unit, and began his career at Siemens.
Sokka holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in industrial engineering from Purdue University. He serves on the Security Industry Association’s Executive Advisory Board and was named a 2026 Security Industry Innovator Award Honoree by Security Business Magazine, SecurityInfoWatch.com and Security Executive Magazine. Sokka’s perspective has also appeared in national business press, including CNBC and Bloomberg Law. That’s the lens he brings to conversations about access and identity—not a debate between old and new, but a question of how to bridge them.
