Hans KahlerChief Operating OfficerAs chief operating officer at Eagle Eye Networks, Hans Kahler oversees a wide range of critical functions, including engineering, technical support, professional services, quality assurance, Eagle Eye University, compliance and IT. He ensures operations run smoothly and efficiently, driving innovation and excellence across all departments.
Kahler joined Eagle Eye Networks in 2013 as the sixth employee and has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and success. He has held several key positions, most recently serving as vice president of operations.
Prior to Eagle Eye, Kahler developed strategic partnerships with video surveillance system manufacturers for a PSIM (Physical Security Information Management) company, built a cloud-based security health monitoring service and led the physical security business unit for a networking firm.
Kahler began his career as a software engineer at IBM. He subsequently architected and led teams focused on web-based applications for enterprise management of unstructured data. He also spearheaded the commercialization of IBM’s citywide video surveillance and analytics system, a groundbreaking system that used advanced computer vision algorithms for real-time detection and fast forensic search, setting a new standard in the industry.

Mark FreedmanPrincipal and CEOMark Freedman is Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Rebel Global Security, which provides strategic advisory services to critical infrastructure and security technology companies. Mark is a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 and multinational clients, providing insights and strategies to help executives achieve their desired outcomes in a challenging national security environment.
Prior to founding Rebel, Mark was a strategy consultant with Deloitte Consulting and Associate Director for National Security at Xcelerate Solutions. In these roles, Mark advised the Department of Defense, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and U.S. Intelligence Community in the areas of national security policy, great power competition, threat management, and critical infrastructure continuity and resilience.
For almost a decade, Mark served as a U.S. State Department officer, including as Chief of Staff to the Ambassador-at-Large for Counterterrorism. As Chief of Staff, Mark ran bureau front office operations for an organization of more than 150 people with more than $1 billion in foreign assistance funds under management; he also managed the flow of all briefing materials to the Secretary of State and other senior U.S. government officials.
In previous assignments at State, Mark led interagency surge teams to tighten security cooperation with European allies in the wake of the 2015 ISIS attacks in Paris; developed strategic plans to contain weapons proliferation during the Arab Spring; and created a first-of-its-kind multilateral forum for security information sharing.
Mark holds a M.A. in Security Studies from Georgetown University and a B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University. He is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and a member of the ASIS Steering Committees on Enterprise Security Risk Management and Critical Infrastructure.
