Dirk Alexander Rohweder is Senior Vice President and Head of the Siemens Building Security Business, responsible for the global Access, Video, Intrusion, and Control portfolio. He drives the business and product strategy and leads innovation efforts that shape Siemens’ state-of-the-art security solutions. Before assuming this role, Alex spent many years in international software and IoT leadership positions, including serving as CEO of J2 Innovations and leading Siemens’ global Building Software Products business. Across these roles, he advanced open, interoperable software platforms for the built environment and helped establish widely adopted frameworks in the smart building ecosystem. Alex is a frequent speaker on digital transformation, open standards and the evolution of building technologies.
