Scott Dunn is the Senior Director of Business Development, Solutions and Services for Axis Communications. He is responsible for Axis’ long term strategy in North America regarding all key vertical market development, in-house developed solutions including analytics, managed services and future products/services.   He is also responsible for both Professional and Technical Service teams, architecture and engineering programs, application software & technology partners as well as all industry association engagements.  Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Dunn was the architect of Axis’ National Accounts business, the architect/engineering programs and technology partner program.  Since 2009 he has lead a team dedicated to liaising with key industry associations to promote educational and standards efforts.   

 Mr. Dunn has over 22 years of experience in the security industry in both access control and video surveillance areas having previously held top executive positions at Synergistics, Inc. and Northern Computers-Honeywell Security.  He is a sought after subject matter expert in the security industry, author of many articles regarding various security topics and was recently selected as one of the top ten most influential people in the physical security market of North America by the peer survey.  In April of 2018 Mr. Dunn was elected to the Security Industry Association Board of Directors.
